When you are after a girl, it's a completely different pursuit altogether.... here you enjoy the journey more than the destination. Call it 'Pursuit of Happiness' though end result doesn't justify this name at all.
Coming back to my dear friend.... u know what he likes most in the girl - her resolve never to do something that her father(he is no more) would not have liked..... I wonder why we also not incorporate these 'somethings' that we so much like in others..... Or is it because we don’t have it in us that we like it so much in others.......

Agree with you conclusion... We crave for all that's there in this world... Undervaluing ourselves or overvaluing others? Guess both ways... But then, the desperation to "be-like-that-someone" has always been a part of human lives... ;)
