I must thank my lovely wife who with her fast reading speed continues to challenge and encourage me!
This time it is James Herriot again whose another work (Vets might fly) I had discussed here previously. One thing which distinguishes Herriot from so many other writers is his simple and lucid narration, his unadulterated love for animals which is reflected in his writing and his love for countryside life etc. Its amazing the way he observes whatever goes around him.
